The Ondamass Shockwave system is easy to operate and works by transferring acoustic energy to the skin via the hand piece. The energy that is released is high amplitude oscillation energy which breaks down connective tissues which in turn releases the fat and toxins seen as the lumps and bumps under the skin surface.
Technically, a maximum force of upto 16 newtons, operating at a selection of 3.5 Hz, 7.5 Hz or 11.0 Hz, is applied through a 38mm diameter hand-piece. The outstanding clinical effects are the result of electromechanical induction.
