The OxyGeneo process
Pollogen's unique Capsugen is attached to the treatment applicator during treatment. This is composed of Sodium Bi-Carbonate and Citric Acid and has been designed specifically to react with the natural active ingredients in the OxyGeneoTM exclusive gels to achieve the desired clinical result.
The OxyGeneoTM effect occurs when the Capsugen and nutrient-rich gel combine on the surface of the skin, liberating countless minute CO2 bubbles. The OxyGeneo applicator has been designed to operate at optimum frequency and amplitude to degas the CO2 bubbles from the gel and infuse them into the epidermis.
The resultant CO2 rich environment initiates a physiological response known as the Bohr Effect, leading to increased tissue oxygenation with:
- Increased blood flow
- Increased Oxygen liberation in to the area
- Increased skin cell metabolism
The oxygenated skin cells are therefore in an ideal condition to utilise the infused active ingredients.

Geneo+ 4-in-1 Procedure
The GeneO+ 4-in-1 treatment consists of the 3-in-1 OxyGeneo treatment plus the additional TriPollar Radiofrequency treatment.
