Cryotherapy (Cryolipolysis) training

Also known as Cryolipolysis, Cryotherapy Induced Lipolysis, to give it its full name, is a procedure for the reduction of fat.

Cryotherapy is a relatively new form of non-invasive fat reduction, but as already become widespread in the Aesthetic and Beauty industry. It is a non-surgical approach to fat reduction with out damage to other cells and tissues.

The treatment relies in controlled cooling of the fat tissue, sometimes in conjunction with vacuum of plate. This cooling process induces lipolysis of the fat cell through a process called 'apoptosis'. Apoptosis is the shrinkage and breakdown of fat cells which are then naturally metabolised and removed by the body’s own metabolism and lymphatic systems. The end results of the this is a reduction over time of the fat layer.

The normal results show a 20-25% fat reduction in any treated area following a single session, if the operator has been appropriately trained and the technique performed correctly.

It has to be said though, the process is most effective on areas of the body that are denser in fat such as the abdomen, thighs and arms. This process is not to be confused with weight loss as it is an inch loss treatment. And is great for stubborn areas of fat that exercise just does not reach.
